Rajdari and Devdari

Rajdari and Devdari reign as the most prominent tourist places of Chandauli district. Justifying their position, these waterfalls located in Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary are a treat to sore eyes. Initially established for the protection of Asiatic lions, the population of lions in the Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary went on decreasing with time. However, the sanctuary became the habitat of many species of birds and animals. With water gushing from the top of the high rocks, the beauty of Rajdari and Devdari waterfalls is a sight to behold. One can witness mysticism in the beautifully serene surroundings of this area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Tourists usually come here for a day trip, since there are no facilties for accommodation available. One can find several eateries serving delectable snacks and drinks nearby.
