From a religious tourism point of view, Dakshinmukhi Koilarva Hanuman Temple located in Aamchuan of Chandauli development block holds a significant place. There is an ancient temple of Lord Hanuman located amidst the mountains in the dense forest called Gutholi of Naugarh area. Apart from Purvanchal, it is also revered by thousands of devotees from Bihar and Jharkhand. Lord Hanuman sits here in the form of a child, and praying to Him eradicates all troubles. Starting from the worship of the ancient Lord Hanuman’s idol under the Pakad tree, the temple took its present form in the year 1995. A five-day annual fair is organized here from Kartik Ekadashi to Kartik Purnima, attracting thousands of devotees for darshan and worship.
