Maa Kali Temple, located about 20 km from the district headquarters, is in this village for hundreds of years. A big event is held here on the day of Ramnavami, in which cultural programs are also organized along with a night vigil. This program is celebrated day and night for three days in which devotees come from different places. This event is being organized continuously for the last hundreds of years. Apart from this, a big fair is also organized here at the great festival of Mauni Amavasya. People do not forget to come here after enjoying the fair at Balua Ghat. On the occasion of Janmashtami, Maa Kali Mandir Madhela has a different importance because a special event Matki-Phod program is held in the entire district. Thousands of tourists come here who take advantage of the Matki-Phod program. Kabaddi competition is also organized in which kabaddi players from about 8-10 districts participate. There is a pond spread over two bighas at the site of Maa Kali temple, in which beautiful fishes reside.
